Electrical Planning Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:

Substation Database Update:

• High school internship program. Worked under a mentor who was a T&D electrical planning engineer.

• Learned about general operation of the power grid and some of its key issues.

• Updated substation information in PGE's internal databases.

• Collected substation information and saved in a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet for future T&D planning.

• Gave symposium presentations about grid complications to increase public awareness of the power grid.
